Korean Central Presbyterian Church

Frequently Asked Questions

Who can I contact if I’m new to KCPC?

You can contact us. Tell us about yourself, and on your first day at KCPC, look for the greeter or table with the Welcome sign directly after service. You’ll meet other newcomers along with our Welcoming Committee. A free lunch will be waiting for you!

What is the vision of KCPC?

Our vision is detailed on our vision and faith page, and you can learn more about our reformed church from our denomination, the Korean American Presbyterian Church (KAPC), which adopted the twelve points of our faith, the Westminster Confession of Faith, the Westminster Shorter Catechism, the Westminster Larger Catechism, and the Book of Church Order.

What time is worship service at KCPC?

Our service at KCPC begins promptly at 9:30am every Sunday unless specified otherwise. We also have two college ministries, Fellowship in Christ, Berkeley (FICB) and Fellowship in Christ, Stanford (FICS), that meet most Fridays on campus. Our Youth worship service begins at 1pm every Sunday and also meets most Friday nights downstairs at church. Our Korean Congregation meets directly after our English Congregation at 11:30am.

How do I get to KCPC?

KCPC is located at 50 Northridge Drive, Daly City, CA 94015. Visit our parking and directions page for instructions, and please be considerate of our neighbors! Better yet, carpool. Contact us if you need a ride.

What programs are offered for children at KCPC?

We have several programs depending on your children’s demographics. Most children attend our Sunday School classes during our regular service. For winter and summer breaks, the children join the entire congregation for family-oriented worship.

How do I join a Bible study small group at KCPC?

We provide small groups for college students, working adults, and married couples. They meet regionally all over the Bay Area and usually Tuesday through Thursday nights after 7pm. Our college students participate in small groups local to their campuses in Berkeley and Stanford. Contact us if you’d like to join a small group.

How do I learn about upcoming events at KCPC?

There are many different events each month, but only four primary ways of staying in tune with these events at KCPC: 1 by reading the program available during Sunday service; 2 by reading the online bulletin; 3 by joining a small group; and 4 by joining our mailing lists.

How can I serve God and His people at KCPC?

We’re always in need of servants and we really appreciate your active interest. Check our bulletin for opportunities or contact us if you know how you’d like to serve.

How do I remove myself from a KCPC mailing list?

We have two mailing lists: our announce mailing list is only used for official announcements and events while our community mailing list is used freely by all members of our congregation usually for housing, job searches, concerts, unofficial outings, etc. We discourage spam, solicitations, and meaningless chatter on both mailing lists. If you’d like to unsubscribe from either mailing address, we’d like to apologize for any inconvenience we’ve caused you. You can contact us or unsubscribe by sending an e-mail from your subscribed address to kcpc-community-unsubscribe@yahoogroups.com and/or kcpc-announce-unsubscribe@yahoogroups.com.

Who can I contact about weddings at KCPC?

Please contact us so we can provide you with more details directly.
