Missions
God has always been missions-minded. Throughout the entire Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, we can readily see that God has always intended people from every "nation, tribe, people, and language" to know and worship Him. (Revelation 7:9) One of our primary responsibilities as a church is to continue with the missions work that God has started.
Our missions program has several facets to it:
- Prepare and equip potential long-term missionaries through short-term trips and education.
- Commission people from our church to go into the missions field as long-term missionaries.
- Educate and equip our congregation to be supporters of the missions effort through prayer and finances.
Every year, we encourage individuals to go experience short-term trips and see what God is doing in other parts of world. We have also commissioned people who committed to long-term missions to go to different parts of the world to spread the Gospel.
